If you are searching for free auditions than do not fear, you can go to many places where their are a lot of auditions and casting calls that are free. Trade magazines like Back Stage and Variety are a good place to start. Those are awesome resources to get both casting calls and free auditions.

Another great place to find free auditions is craiglist the popular website. You can go to the jobs section which has a TV and video jobs subsection. Simply go in there and you can look at many available casting calls and auditions. The great thing about Craigslist is that new casting calls and auditions are posted daily.

Another great way to find free auditions and casting calls is to search for terms such as “Free Castings” or “Free Auditions” in your favorite search engine. You will be rewarded with tons of websites that have info on castings and auditions. A minor annoyance i had was that many of the sites where ugly and hard to navigate. I had to search through a lot of junk to find the good information. I can’t really complain though because I didn’t pay for it.

Lastly I want to tell you something that does not have anything to do with free auditions, but is something you may want to consider nonetheless. Finding an agent is my last piece of advice. Be warned that you do have to pay an agent a portion of the money you earn for finding you castings and auditions. A good agent will keep your job pipeline filled, so don’t worry about that too much. So it’s definitely something to at least consider, but even if you don’t get one you now know where to find free auditions.
