Movies With Jewellery In

There are so many films that have jewellery as the main centre point of the film. Here are just some of my personal favourites.

Titanic

Although I personally find this boring to be very boring and dull, there is no doubt it made an impact on the world when it was released.

The entire film is set around a company who are after this very valuable blue diamond necklace that is known as the Heart of the Ocean.

Although they made up the story of the diamond it was actually made for the film costing a whopping £10,000.

At the moment it is sitting somwhere in the Fox studios. The film shows the treasure hunters eventually finding out that the owner was Rose, who then goes on to tell us the story of the titanic.

The well made Lord of the Rings

Although this is technically a collection of books, for me the film really showed of the obsession that could be had when it comes to a piece of jewellery. Gollum would actually do anthing in his power to get at the ring, using his famous phrase "my precious" he would even kill to get at it.

The ring was of course forged by the evil Sauron many years before the bookes even started and after his death the ring was lost for many years.

Gollum was actually a really friendly Hobbit before the ring transformed him into the creature you see him as in the movies, Bilbo Baggins then stole the ring from him. This is where the first book begins.

Indiana Jones

Henry Jones Jr or Indiana Jones is of course famous for treasure hunting but does it for the benefit of the museum over himself~Of course everyone knows that The brilliant Indiana Jones is famous for his treasure hunting skills, however he does it for the museum~Although The famous Indiana Jones is famous for his treasure hunting he always does it to take back to a museum of some kind,}. Is Ford likely to pick up his most famous role for another time? I do hope that he doesnt step down to his son because that would be just awful.
