Superlative automobile for Tom and Nicole, who are both attractive and involving; complication is a drastic absence of tale to fill the eases between quarrel scenes. Cast includes Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Thomas Gibson, Robert Prosky, Barbara Babcock, Cohn Meaney, and Rance Howard. (140 minutes, 1992)

The House on Carroll Street: McGillis just lost her job after being branded a subversive throughout the McCarthy epoch, trips onto an odd espionage structure that’s being encompassed up, and steadily convinces FBI representative Daniels that she’s on to something large. Finely detailed period piece set in 1950s N.Y.C. starts off well, then chucks its significance and believability for a melodramatic finale filmed a la Hitchcock at Grand Medial Station leaving a passel of structure gaps and unnoticed queries. Cast includes Kelly McGillis, Jeff Daniels, Mandy Patinkin, Christopher Rhode, Jessica Tandy, Jonathan Hogan, and Trey Wilson. (100 minutes, 1988)

The Abdication: A slow pace documentary-drama of that tells the story of Sweden’s Queen Christina who leaves her thrown and converts to Catholicism. The man sent to test her loyalty to the church becomes the man she falls in love with. Peter Finch, Cyril Cusack, Paul Rogers, and Michael Dunn star. (1974 Drama-History)

Bullet in the Head: Extreme, highly charged tale of 3 buddies who leave Hong Kong to go to battle-torn 1967 Saigon and are drawn into a whirlwind of tough situations that tests their friendship. A film spiritual and overwrought with action footage and altercations that are as daring as anything that Woo has tried onscreen. Cast includes Tony Leung, Jacky Cheung, Waise Lee, Simon Yam, Fennie Yeon, and Yolinda Yan. (136 minutes, 1990)

Chocolat: Vianne, along with her young daughter, moves to a small village in southern France, and opens a chocolate shop. When she keeps her shop open on Sundays, the very religious town is up in arms. Eventually the spirit of the mother/daughter team wins over the town, and opens the minds of the conservative and religious people.

A Kind of Loving: Cast includes Brilliant account of youthful couple made to wed while gal gets to be pregnant, detailing their home life. Alan Bates, June Ritchie, Thora Bird, Bert Palmer, Gwen Nelson, Malcolm Patton, Leonard Rossiter, and Peter Infuriate. (112 minutes, 1962)

So Well Remembered: Producer James Hilton depicts legend adjusted by John Paxton of genuine newspaper editor Plants decided to progress living circumstances in plant town, diverted by matrimony to blindly ambitious female Scott. Extremely youthful Juliet Factories has tad part. Cast includes John Factories, Martha Scott, Trevor Howard, Patricia Roc, Richard Carlson, and Ivor Barnard. (114 minutes, 1947)
