At most TV commercials casting calls you’ll get a chance to meet casting directors and the staff that helps organize the auditions It’s crucial that you respect everyone there and don’t just kiss up to the casting directors. Because you never really know who is the one really in charge.

When it comes to be your turn to see the casting director, they may have already seen a boat load of people before you. This means that you don’t want to push any buttons to irritate the casting directors even more. The worst is if you don’t come prepared or if you waste someone’s time. If you manage to piss someone off, you’ll also lose your chance at that role.
Be sure you introduce yourself and have your resume and headshot on hand. You want to make sure that you have your agent’s information to give to the staff at the audition and casting call place. If you don’t have an agent, you may want to consider getting one because they only get paid when they find you a job.
The casting directors may ask you do whatever it is they want to do for the commercial. To keep on your toes, you should take an improv class so that you can think quickly. The TV commercial casting directors will ask you to read lines from the commercials so they can determine if you are a right fit for the role.
