Since I have been on America’s Got Talent before, I’ll give you the tips and tricks for you to get on that show. I also have friends who are casting directors for other networks and they gave me some hints what other casting directors look for. Keep on reading to find out more.
Here’s how to get an America’s Got Talent 2009 Audition
My first step I took was pre-registering for America’s Got Talent. Make sure you use the form provided by America’s Got Talent.
This is an important step to pre=register or else you cannot be part of America’s Got Talent. The trick is to have a talent that can be shown on television and will get ratings. If you don’t see a response from America’s Got Talent, be sure to check AuditionFree.com as they post new casting calls everyday.
Now that you’ve got an invitation to the America’s Got Talent audition, pay attention to these steps. If you have a scheduled audition, make sure you are at least 20 minutes early to the place. But if it’s an open audition available to the public, make sure you are much earlier, maybe even an hour earlier.
There will definitely be some paperwork to do so be absolutely sure that you have allocated some time for that. To be ahead of the pack, come to the audition with a doctor’s release form and personal release. Also don’t forget 2 forms of ID and you have to be a resident of the US.

Once piece of advice that I can’t stress enough is to smile and be nice. Good luck with your America’s Got Talent audition.
